Postdoctoral position in
mechanobiology
We are looking for talented and enthusiastic young researchers for a post-doctoral position funded by a CARIPARO Excellence 2017 grant (2 years fellowship, renewable).
The research of the lab is focused on ECM mechanotransduction and how this regulates signaling and metabolism (Dupont et al., Nature 2011; Aragona et al. Cell 2013; Enzo et al., EMBOJ 2015; Santinon et al., EMBOJ 2018; Romani et al., NCB under revision). The ideal candidate should have a PhD in the field of molecular biology, cell biology or metabolism and relevant publications. Previous experience in cell culture, microscopy and/or biochemistry is recommended.
The Department of Molecular Medicine ranks among the very first Departments for scientific research in biomedicine, cell and molecular biology in Italy. The Department is part of the School of Medicine of Padova, among the top Universities in the country and one of the oldest in Europe. Padova is a lively and pleasant town located in the North-East of Italy, midway between Venice and Verona, with easy International connections by plane and trains.
