Job Description
The Ngo laboratory at the Department of Systems Biology, City of Hope is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to lead a federally funded project in lymphoma and immunotherapy. Our laboratory studies molecular mechanisms and identifies therapeutic targets in hematologic malignancies. Candidates having interests in cancer biology and immunology with hands-on experience in working with hematopoietic cells and handling animals are encouraged to apply. Candidates with at least one first-author paper will be given more priority.
Key Responsibilities include:
·Plan, design, and execute experiments independently and in collaboration with lab members.
·Generate data, present, and discuss results with lab members and at department meetings.
·Communicate results through posters and/or oral presentations at national meetings and manuscripts for publication.
·Develop new techniques/protocols and help other lab projects.
Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
·A Ph.D. degree in life or biomedical sciences, or a related discipline is required.
Preferred education, experience, and skills for consideration:
·Experience in CRISPR, lentiviral transduction, culturing of human T cells and NK cells, flow cytometry, and mouse experiments is preferred.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $31.00 - $34.23 / hour
